Yeah this seems like an all-around bad idea
I have a smaller unit from this company. It really helped to clear my three car garage of the cigar smell from the previous owner. To be clear, this is a “set it up and clear the area for hours” type machine, not a basic air purifier that runs all the time.

Ozone is actually toxic so noone should be buying this. Also producing it on the ground doesn’t have any effect on the ozone layer.
I had a look at that link. They are potentially ineffective. It may create too much ozone even when the directions are followed. It may create harmful byproducts.
Basically a terrible product.

There’s a difference between an air purifier which claims to use ozone as part of its filtration process (eg. Sharper Image Ionic Breeze series) vs. an Ozone Generator which is not intended to operate in the presence of humans or animals because it generates ozone at the toxic levels needed to be effective.
Oh, no doubt. Ain’t use it around people, though.
