Are you retired?
Nope.
Yes, and it’s time for bed. Oh, retired? I thought you said tired.
I don’t remember the last time I wasn’t tired
Always re-tired
Retired from what?
Uh…nope, not really
Planning ahead but not there yet.
Technically I’m eligible for retirement in 15 years, however, with the fact that I’ve been promised no Social Security my entire life (Gen X, yo) and with the fact that the rich keep getting richer and hogging all the money, I’ll never be able to retire.
My other retirement plan is to win the lottery. The only problem there isn’t the odds, as you’d think it was. No no no. The only problem there is that I don’t play.
Breh, I was born in the '90’s. Retirement is little more than a wish.
N’yet. It is tempting but a colleague said it was “too boring after 2 weeks.” So he came to work for us for 4 years.
Need a job first to retire
I got plans. I’m going to turn my on-off switch to off.
Volunteer for 6 months to a year in a place that will lead to references? My child did that. So did I a ways back. You stay active. People know you exist. Ideally suggestions are made in your behalf. One job I had was actually that means.
I’m in a place where I can work as little or as much!
Nope
I liked that episode.
2025 is the big year!
Medically retired from the Navy…. Dealing with the va is not fun but Covid has made it much more tolerable with video appts…… truly if it’s thought about my job is to be a patient…. Deal with va make sure I have appts and then playing by their rules
