Yeah…u can get a bad 1…i have b4…u just call them, give rhem the batch info stuff from the box/bag, they send a replacement!!! When these r fresh, they work great! Have grown like at least 10 boxes of these!!!
I’ve rolled the dice on it. The oyster trees I usually forage from haven’t fruited yet so these should get me by.
It’s been too dry where I live. The puff balls are only now showing up in my yard because we finally got about 3 drops of rain.
No rain here but the puffballs be puffing. It’s been a surprisingly good year for mushrooms despite the lack of rain.
Not sure where yall live (well, pep i know)…but not easy growin shrooms around here

So anyway, you should tell Customer Service all about that. They’ll probably want pictures. And you should probably give them pictures of the ruined product too.
Why would they want pictures of me, too?
They work hard & they need something to cheer them up.
Back to the Roots was very responsive to my inquiry and appear to be supplying replacements, so you may want to reach out to them.

Oh no…we just got our 3 sets…guess we need 2 open and look…sigh…and yes, the company is very good about sending replacements…but thinking there will b lots of us…they will def take a financial hit on this 1…
I had it easy - the shipping box was full of brown goo, so that was a pretty good indicator. BttR told me right away they’d like to swap them out and to send along some photos of the lot codes.
I gave Woot CS a heads-up in case it’s a widespread thing. But yeah… those boxes looked like a murder scene.
