We love Breville. Have the Compact BJE-200XL as well as the 800XL toaster oven.

This stuff is just plain better designed and more reliable than similar priced small appliances.

The 200XL juicer is very easy to clean, the feel is solid, and unlike with many small appliances, the engineers must have had to live with their own designs. A lot of juicers are really cheap feeling.

One caution regarding the “Compact” model - it isn’t so compact - look at the dimensions. You’ll need a bit of storage space but it is worth it.

Did you buy your juicer new or reconditioned. How long have you owned it and have you ever had a problem?

I bought the Breville the Juice Fountain Multi-Speed here a few months ago. It’s the first and only juicer I’ve ever owned, but I really do love it! It’s super easy to take apart and clean/put back together (minus the mesh part - that’s always a little difficult to clean because it’s so fine). I found the built in settings generally accurate for the fruits/vegetables I was juicing, though for some citrus, I still bumped it down to the lowest setting.

Love mine and I got a deal at $149 Now it’s $60! For those that are going to be complaining about how hard a juicer is to clean…it’s not! You make the juice and immediately clean the juicer…no prob! It’s the people who let it set till the next day that have a problem. :slight_smile:

I bought the compact model a few weeks ago from Woot because I’ve loved all the Breville products I’ve bought from Woot over the years. This one is awesome as well. Compared to a lot of juicers, it doesn’t take up much room,is very easy to clean, and is a great price. If you have never had margaritas made with fresh juice, you are in for a treat with this machine! We also juiced vegetables to make our own V8 style juice for Bloody Mary’s. Obviously we don’t use it everyday (or we would never get to work)but for us it’s perfect.
