Briggs & Stratton 3300 PSI Pressure Washer

Briggs & Stratton 3300 PSI Pressure Washer

Briggs and Stratton, made in China? Really?

I don’t think so!

Wisconsin is NOT China!

Call me when you have an American
engine!

steve

FYI, Briggs and Stratton has been making engines in China since 1986 – so if you have a time machine …

From AcmeTools Website selling this model ($449), the only review: "I bought this a month ago and don’t regret buying it for the very cheap price. Assembling the wheels and handle were very strait forward. Came with required oil for engine, but didn’t have oil in the pump. Good thing I checked and topped off with some SAE30. The battery for electric start was dead on arrival. Charged it with provided charger for 48 hours and the solenoid will barely click. Once started with recoil starter the engine runs great and the triplex plunger pump does a great job. For the money I wasn’t surprised by the cheap tips and mediocre hose included. Overall I would definitely buy it again at this price point. Would love to get another battery but they are over $100 from the manufacturer.

Also just to note for those wondering this is actually a Husquvarna unit. I pulled back a label on the frame to reveal one underneath that has husqvarna printed on it. It is just an older discontinued model."

Seems like almost too good of a deal for a 3.2 gpm electric start gas washer. So many complaints about oil leaking (shipping) and quality control in general. Is this a good deal on a decent washer or is this a last ditch effort to get rid of whats left of a poorly designed machine? Anyone familiar with it?

Lol… The second picture down shows a clipped off “varna” where “Murray” is on the main picture. So, as mqcongdon pointed out, this was clearly sold as a Husquvarna at some point.

I think the included charger is a float charger. You can’t recharge a dead battery with a float charger; it’s only intended to keep the battery from going dead in the first place.

This looks almost exactly like my Husquvarna. My Briggs engine says Made in the USA though on mine. (its 12 years old)

I wish i understood what any of you were saying.

We received on 9/3. Very disappointed.

Box was very beat up, the pressure washer was covered on oil, and the battery will not start, even after charging overnight.

We haven’t been able to pull start it either.

Very disappointed with Woot! and this product. As a ten year Wooter, it is definitely the worst thing we’ve bought on Woot!

I’m very sorry. Briggs & Stratton should be able to help you.

If they can’t for some reason, reach out to Woot customer service:

From a browser, use the Woot Customer Service form. In the Woot App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.

Thank you, will do!

Woot! Woot!
