Char-Broil 36,000 BTU 3-Burner Gas Grill w/ Wheels

Have this grill. It is great but 3 hours to put together and the grates last one grilling season.

Maybe it just depends on the person, but I was able to assemble the grill in about 45 min, and that was taking my time to ensure I didn’t forget anything. I agree with the grates, but there should be options for replacement grates that last much longer.

If you can’t find replacements that fit exactly, just place the replacements over the existing grates.

also got this from woot last time. assembly looks daunting when you take out all the parts, but turns out to be not bad. most screws already started and just need to be tightened.
The back hinges on mine were kinda bent from shipping i guess. I made it all fit, but the hinges got scratched up in the process. Planning to buy some of the high-heat rustoleum and coating them.
This grill can get really really hot for a propane grill. when I have all three burners on high, the Thermometer on the lid maxes out at 700 degrees - as in, for all i know it could be hotter but that’s the highest number.
i agree the grates are cheap and from what i understand, the porcelain coated kinda grates you are not supposed to use a wire grill brush on, so they are hard to clean. would be nice to find replacements.
Can’t complain for 70 bucks. will certainly last a few years one way or another.

Seems like a decent grill for the price. Just got a job (right out of college… here I come corporate america!). And figured that this would be a nice addition to the home. Give me something to look forward to coming back from work, without breaking the budget.

I’ll take care of it, I just needed a grill for the first few years. So I can save for something nicer.

Though the grates do seem to be crap… except for one BestBuy review which said they were great. Only time will tell.

OMG I missed this, please make this happen again! It was in my cart and is now sold out!!

I bought this grill when it was on sale last. Took ~2 hours to put together and a few beers. Some of the parts arrived dented/bent but that was to be expected to me. I have two gripes as far as the grill goes: 1) The bun warmer falls down and dose not allow that you close the grill unless you pick it back up with tongs or a fork
2) The grates have begun to warp already (<10 uses)
Overall though I believe it was a good value for the price.

I am trying to talk myself out of buying this but between this great price and the coupon that was on amazon local earlier this week, this may be too good of a deal to pass up.

Conan…where are these coupons i hear about on Amazon? Just Amazon.com? Missed this one but will always check for coupons in the future!

almost a week ago local.amazon.com had a woot! coupon as one of their daily deals. It was $10 off of $25. I have never seen this kind of coupon before. It sold out pretty quickly.

I JUST RECEIVED MY PRODUCT IN THE MAIL AND IT IS DEFECTIVE I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO CONTACT WOOT AND HAVE YET TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM…VERY UNHAPPY RIGHT NOW WITH THE SERVICE

I picked one of these up last time they were on Woot!. It was an awful ordeal. Char Broil sent a faulty piece. I called Char Broil and after a few phone calls and photos, they sent the wrong pieces. Another call and a few weeks later, I finally got the right piece. So after a month of frustration, I finally got the grill working. So far, it’s working well. The grill grates seem cheap. They are thin and have begun to warp after about 10 uses.
All in all, the grill was a good deal and maybe I had some bad luck but beware.
