Conan i think you and me had the same idea earlier I(posting the Char Broil Product page) , but since you beat me I changed mine to the Best Buy page

Sorry! I didn’t see you posted the product page, I’ll start paying attention.
I am trying to talk myself out of buying this but between this great price and the coupon that was on amazon local earlier this week, this may be too good of a deal to pass up.
I think this is a nice grill and I would certainly buy one. But since I was not born yesterday, I’m not going to buy a grill without a manufacturer’s warranty! And please don’t tell me that we get a woot warranty. Even woot is not bashful about telling you that the 90 day warranty they offer is limited…AND THEY MEAN VERY LIMITED!
It’s a far better deal to buy the grill from HD at @ $149 with a complete and comprehensive warranty, including parts a labor. Let’s not forget that woot built a reputation by offering the customer good deals. This is certainly not one of them!
I bought one on Woot in June - I love it! The assembly was a bit tricky, but it cooks well and fits nicely on my small deck.
Great grill for the price.
I picked one of these up last time they were on sale. Used it weekly since.
Assembly was easy & surprisingly well-made. It’s a fantastic Grill for the price.
It features the wider-grill inserts that are atypical for grills in that price range. They are much easier to clean and cook on than the typical thin-bar type grill inserts.
I highly recommend this grill if you’re in the market. Brace Yourselves, FOOTBALL SEASON IS COMING!
I picked one of these up last time they were on Woot!. It was an awful ordeal. Char Broil sent a faulty piece. I called Char Broil and after a few phone calls and photos, they sent the wrong pieces. Another call and a few weeks later, I finally got the right piece. So after a month of frustration, I finally got the grill working. So far, it’s working well. The grill grates seem cheap. They are thin and have begun to warp after about 10 uses.
All in all, the grill was a good deal and maybe I had some bad luck but beware.

To reach their own but I think many people would choose $70 less money and no warranty. Besides, if you’ve ever tried claiming in those crappy warranties on the cheap grills at HD, you’ll find they are essentially no warranty. And on top of that, you can buy two of these for the price of one of your cheap, poorly warranted hd purchass so I would guess that 9 out of 10 people think this is a good deal. But like dentists discussing toothpaste, nor everyone agrees.
Does anyone have the size of the cooking grates? I am looking for a grill, but I hate cheap grates. I have two cast iron grates that are about 17x12 from an old grill. Can anyone tell me if these would fit?

You could just about buy two of these from woot for the price of one from HD. Buy an extra and keep it for parts.
I picked one up last time these went up here on Woot. I have to say this grill exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t expecting junk, but the grill was much larger than I had thought it would be with the bonus of having 3 burners and larger cooking surfaces. I am not crazy about the bar grates, and when I called Char Broil directly about upgrading they firmly stated the only recommended using the grate that came with the grill. I did read on another site where someone upgraded with a cast iron grate. So, if anyone has done this and found the size that fits please post. Great deal on this grill if you don’t want to dump alot of cash into a bbq.
I bought this in July during the birthday bash, and you can’t beat it for the price. I haven’t been able to find a 3 burner, lower end gas grill at the same price locally. My family has used it about once a week since buying it to replace a previous Brinkmann grill that rusted out from the inside.
For a cheaper grill, it assembles nicely. Some parts are understandably loose in tolerance to ensure fitment, but not even close to as bad as some of the assembled Brinkmann grills I’ve seen in stores. No lid gaps, no warped side panels or shelves, no out-of-square grates, etc. For the surface area, the 3 burners heat the grill up quickly and cook fairly evenly. I am able to cook 5-6 good size chicken breasts at once.
Even if it only lasts 1-2 years, I’ll be more than happy with the purchase. However, I suspect it will last longer. It’s exceeded all my expectations so far.
