I have one of these budget Krups Espresso Pumps and totally love it. Great brew, so-so on the froth dealie. My recommendation is to keep it clean and always use fresh grounds instead of those garbage pod things.

Most of the Amazon Reviews gripe on leakage, but I’ve been fortunate with mine staying tight. Besides that, they do come with a 2yr warranty so if you get a leaker you can swap it.

For someone that doesnt drink anything more than Kcups, how is the coffee being offered? Is it good for expresso? How fresh is it?

I think 55 cups is too much for me. Does anyone have experience drinking this much everyday? Maybe I can work up to it?

Under $100 Chinese made machines seem to use the same “innards” with outside cosmetic changes. In recent years they have gotten pretty good. But my best machines were all made elsewhere. Ditto on cheap burr grinders. They do not grind fine enough for espresso. Great for drip.

So I just received my first of two pounds of Zoka coffee. The roasting date labeled on the bag (but covered up with a sticker) says August 31, 2012. I’d like confirmation of the actual roasting date of this coffee. The implication when selling this sort of artisinal coffee is that it’s the freshest of the fresh.

Second bag had the same roasting date. If I’d known it was roasted 2 months ago there was no way I’d have purchased, so I’ll be contacting service@woot.
