In what way?
Fuuuuuu I’ve been wanting to get one of these at a good price for so long. Can’t believe I missed it.
While I missed it, am I still going to have to deal with replacing the batteries every so often? I hated that about the old ones I had.
I did get a MagSafe charger and a AmazonBasics whiteboard! Yay!
The batteries typically last about 5 years before going flat so yes you will. You can buy OEM and Chinese ones on eBay fairly cheap so if my unit is worth the minor effort that’s what I do.
Does the true sinewave matter that much for older systems? I’m curious cause I have an old Dell Precision 490 in my basement that I run some esxi VMs on and I’d like to get a UPS for it. I’ve heard that more modern PC power supplies work better with the true sinewave stuff, but would an older one be fine with a simulated sinewave UPS?
I have run both types here and so far none of my pc’s or equipment seem to care. I prefer the pure sinewave versions for cleaner power to the gear but most digital power supply type stuff isn’t going to be a problem.
