Bought this last round and a second for a friend.
Anyone know of a good (at least marginally healthy) recipe site?
Would be grateful for at least 2 weeks.
Thanks!
PS
friend is 80 and diabetic
Hello, I am 56 and diabetic! I started a Keto diet last year and the results have been unbelievable!
I have lost over 40 pounds, simply by changing what I eat; I finally know what the carbs were doing to my body! My previous A1C was 8.9, my recent A1C was a 5.6; my doctor was in shock, he immediately took me off of one of my diabetes medicines on the spot!
I started on Facebook, I started searching Keto and there were a lot of options! I started watching and following people that would post themselves making keto meals, I also joined a couple groups an got some recipe books, I don’t participate directly with the group, I just use their recipes! I have now become very good at making Keto meals that are great!
Good luck in your journey, Keto is the perfect diet for a diabetic!
I have used these little guys and also a larger DASH round griddle. They are great for quick cooking small meals. I carry one in an RV for simple cooking without taking too much space. I don’t have ones like the waffle one so at this price went for the “3-pack”
TYSM!
Great reply and results for you! I will be grateful for at least 3 weeks!
My problem with Mr L is that bread means a lot to him. So I was thinking animal protien and veggies for bkfst to extend a mimicked fasting, but carbs will happen at some point in his day.
So keto bkfst and healthy lunch/dinner/treats are my focus at this moment.
Possibly paleo would go over better than keto. He may be able to shift and hold onto that longer than just for a trial. I’m open.
BTW, he does not need to lose weight. He’s pretty fit for his age. Walks everywhere and is socially active as well.
I’m looking for the same. Small hot meals with little cleanup and potential to pack this puppy up for travel.
