Previous Woot Plus Sale that had all 3
Will it be a problem to shot .22/9mm to this .38/.45 target?
Tons of comments when the Body Shot rimfire and the spin cycle was sold back in April
No problem, but they probably will not cycle correctly when shot with the smaller calibre rimfire or pellets. Also you do not want to shoot .223 at these. Those will put holes right through the steel plates.
I’m still waiting for a sale on targets that can be used with my .45 Caliber pistol and my 7.62x54r Rifle… The one time I’ve seen something like that I didn’t have the money stuffed away ready for the purchase, now that it’s been stuffed away waiting I haven’t seen it in a long lonnnnnnng time
This will handle your lead 45 fine as it’s less powerful than a 44 Mag. But it won;t do the rifle.
You might (stress MIGHT) be able to use sub-sonic .223/556 rounds with the .44 one. But that might not be too fun to do, sub-sonics can be a pain out of semis/autos unless they are specifically designed to handle them (think FN P-90).
I didn’t even know the p90 had subsonic rounds. I own a FiveseveN and they fire the same 5.7x28 cartridge as the p90. The benefit of this round is its speed, so it sounds kinda counterproductive. To each their own. I know I won’t be firing my green tips as these targets.
The target rings are incorrectly placed on the pop-up targets. They should be on the heads of the silhouettes. Since a zombie can only be taken out with a head shot, why not start practicing now??
Also, you might have luck with .223 frangible rounds, as they’ll break up upon hitting the target.
Just a little correction, technically, the BS38 targets should not be listed “rimfire” in the description.
I guess bean bags are out of the question.
I live in Lawrence Massachusetts and in the past 12 months I have personally witnessed with my own eyes two separate instances of someone shooting of a handgun. If I get a few of these it will give them something to aim at other than people.
Head over to the Lawrence Rod and Gun club, and you can see multiple instances of people shooting handguns any day of the week.
Should handle .45acp no problem. When shooting steel speed is what does damage. A 9mm FMJ will penetrate much more than a .45 FMJ.
As far as your 7.62x54r (I assume you have a Mosin) goes, no way. Search for targets made of hardened AR550 steel for rifle fun. Action Target makes some of the best and they are not outrageously expensive. But that type of target is going to run quite a bit more.
We can probably use the " Woots by State" to predict the next presidential election.
Completely agree with you, that is the benefit of the FiveseveN. They are mainly for special forces who need it to be as quiet as possible when using suppressors. You put a sub-sonic with a suppressor and there is almost no sound, but the sub-sonic round is grossly underpowered most of the time (.45 ACP is naturally sub-sonic). (Suppressors are great by them selves though.)
The police chief of Lawrence is on TV more often than Brian Williams and Brian does the nightly news. Don’t think these targets will help your situation though.
I think federal agents are free for 7.62x54r practice, not suggesting anything just saying
I hope I didn’t cross a line… But I’ll defend my side of it
And yours too…
You apply the stick-on target, any place you want.
