The spec listed here need more info than what is listed. The mothership ssys it’s battery powered…
It doesn’t say battery powered on Woot, not that I could scan. The remote might need batteries.
Boy your website has a lot of links…
Nice to have options?
It does! But it was at least ablr to gibe the dq footage of how much space this can clean. It is more of a desktop and/or bedroom sized purifier. For that price point, I’m not willing to shell it out, despite how pleased I have been with dyson products.
I think you’re paying for the Dyson name a lot of the time.
… Never heard of dyson . Yeah but at almost $300 jebus
Dyson? I hardly knew him!!
Fyi / comment…
We have the AM09 Hot and Cool Fan Heater.
(2/21). Woot $181.89
Really like it. Used for air circulation during warm days, to boost cool air movement. When time to use heat again, heat wouldn’t work. Got error code. This unit doesn’t have a removable filter and to get checked , it needed to go to service center. No access to inside unit, but, my husband now can disassemble, clean, reassemble. It was truly full of collected dust. The rotation now works too. All to say, good machine but full price would have been out of my comfort zone…
Happy Wooting
Is this Dyson refurbished or some other generic refurbisher?
Known problem with that AM09 model. Gets all jammed up internally with dust which is why they stopped making it and replaced it with these filtered HP* models.
It says “Factory”, that means Dyson. I have two of these that are just about 2 years old - both Dyson refurbs. One looked brand new while the other had a few rubs here and there - especially on the remote. Both work perfectly
Maybe I’m missing it but assuming new filter is included?
Giggity
I would say yes, as part of the Factory Reconditioning a new filter would be there.
Exactly! Works like a dream now- not a nightmare.
From guide instruction-wipe dust from it.
The dust was so concentrated all through it, surprised it operated the fan.
Are filters only available from Dyson?
I actually followed a YouTube and took mine apart, ran water from a hose through it, let it dry for a couple days, put it back together and it works better than new. I was skeptical but I figured I had nothing to lose. So now I keep vacuuming the million intake dots to extend the time period before I give it another shower!
By Dyson or someone they designate.
Here’s our guide:
Seriously? No issues? You sun dry it?
I left it sit on top the dryer for five days just to be sure, but it couldn’t hurt to put it in the sun. You should have seen the dirt and mud that came out when I flushed it!!!
