Is Alcatraz a Hawaiian island?

I hear any are expensive. BoC cost extra $100.

Note: i made this up. Well it is expensive there. No idea on the impact of boc prices with extra shipping.

I believe it is the boc of Hawaiian islands. Geographically little off from islands, and it is far from glorious unless you are glutton for disappointment.

Maui (in what seems to be another lifetime) was OK but touristy and most commercial.
Big Island beaches and sealife were an order of magnitude more fun. Day and night. More authentic feeling.
I never had the chance to do this (dear wife passed and life was forever changed) but imagine this experience:

Night Dive with Giant Manta Rays - Kona, Big Island

As in “Tonight you swim with the fishes.” “Oh goody. Thank you. Thank you!”

Only island I’ve ever been to was an Amusement Park called Boblo Island.

Big island has volcanos, Kauia has waterspouts, Ni’ihau was off limits to us haoles. Oahu and Maui were too touristy

Hawaii doesnt have islands. It is a conspiracy where they moved it to the middle of the ocean to cover up the set for the moon landing. I have heard that there is proof the earth is flat down there too.

It is perhaps ideal to make memories with and for your kids. If I were to do ever again i would go to two towns. Kona (restaurants, surfing, snorkling maybe with the Mantas!) first on the Big Island 2-3 days and maybe 1-2 days in Hilo (close to beaches with fish all around you while swimming) 2 days.

Research how to save on hotels, food, and fun before going to likely save 40%.
