Can you use this with Project Fi?
Yes… this phone will work with Project Fi
is the bootloader locked?
When they say dent and scratch, do they mean the phone? Or the screen?
From the features:
Scratch & Dent: These units have been restored to full working order. They may have minor cosmetic blemishes to the body of the unit and surface scratches on the screen. This will not impair use of the device.
Can I use this phone outside the US, with a LTE carrier?
There’s a link at the top of the features where you can look up compatibility. ![]()
I ordered this phone which just arrived yesterday. It did have a pretty deep scratch on the back of the device. Also, there was “burn in” on the front of the device near the app tray. It looked like a shadow of the apps that normally appear on the home screen. But that “shadow” appears on every screen. I read that this has been a common issue with Pixel Phones. Has anyone else seen this issue?
Is screen burn in considered scratch and dent? that seems like a hardware issue, neither a Scratch OR a Dent. What is the return policy on a device like this?
Hi there. I honestly don’t have an answer but the condition of the phone should not impede the use.
You can read our return policy by clicking the link in my signature. ![]()
What model did you get (size and screen)?
I ordered the pixel XL and I also have the burn-in issue. Just got my phone yesterday and it makes watching videos super distracting.
Is this something that is warranty replaceable? I was fine with the scratches all over the back of the phone but the burn in is lame…
Are these refurbished by Google or by a third party?
3rd party
I’m very sorry. Please use the Woot Customer Service form for assistance.
FYI - I ordered one of these last week. It looked in perfect condition, but it was hardware defective. There is a microphone defect where the regular calling microphone does not work, but the speakerphone microphone does.
Woot is refunding my order. I asked to do a replacement (the site still lists units for sale) but they said they couldn’t do a replacement for some reason.
Just received my Pixel. When they say “Scratch and Dent” they really mean it. The body is pretty much in the worst shape of any phone I’ve ever owned. Literally looks like parts of the body were rubbed on cement. It’s a little nerve racking to have paid over $300 for a sensitive electronic device that was obviously, previously, rubbed on cement. The screen, is in good shape, however, and the rest of the phone appears to be in working order.
Question to the WOOT STAFF:
Are these units the:
-Global RoW model
or
-Americas Model
I had the exact same issue and had to return the phone.
