I’ve purchased three Gotham pans for myself. The first was/is awesome. Because of my good experience, I’ve purchased two additional pans, and given them additional ones as gifts. The pans, other than the first, are not great. They scratch easily and food starts to stick. I have a feeling that they sold out to cheaper manufacturer.
I agree. They also seem to have changed the non-stick coating that they were using. The inside of my original Gotham pan is gold like the outside is now. I’ve found that all of these so-called non-stick pans cannot cook beyond medium heat (especially on a gas stove) without losing their supposed non-stickability. Once that coating is subjected to high heat, it’s gone. Probably ingested in that last meal you cooked in it.
