I purchased a computer just recently from woot! I went to register the product and discovered it was considered out of warranty. To get my one year warranty from the manufacturer, they would like proof of purchase. However, a screenshot of my order confirmation does not appear to be adequate. This is what they’re asking for;
When attaching your receipt or invoice online, please ensure it displays the following:
(1) company’s logo
(2) date of purchase
(3) cost
(4) serial and/or model number of ASUS product
(5) ACCEPTABLE file types: PDF or JPG files
How can I get this as a PDF or JPG?
Hi there. Let me ask CS what we do for these. I know that we don’t record the serial number so that’s a problem right out of the gate.
Update: Yeah, we don’t have any other kind of receipt. However, since 1 Year Asus Warranty is listed on the sale page, we will honor this and help w/any issues within the time frame if the manufacturer will not honor it. You would just need to send us a copy of the correspondence confirming that they are not helping you.
Bummer. The ASUS warranty for the machine expired 8/2023, and the build date on the machine appears to be in 2022. So has Woot had the machine on their shelves for a year? It would be easier to work with ASUS, but I can work with your CS as well.
Do you have ANY record of my SN?
Thanks.
Hi there. These are being pulled from Amazon inventory so we never had eyes on them and Amazon doesn’t record serial numbers. Sorry.
