If SDS is right, there was some low voter turnout this time around. I’m afraid none of my picks made it to the fog, so I won’t have any pressure to pickup anything over the weekend. Here’s to some good ECs, and more than one week of them

My first double-take derby…Do they say all the Editor’s choices at once, or do they reveal them day by day as they print?

Congrats to all artists…but never have I been more disappointed with a double-take derby

You don’t have to congratulate someone for winning if you don’t mean it. Unless you think it’s praiseworthy to be rewarded above and beyond the worth of your work.
The only one of these I’d even remotely consider is Monk, and even that i’d need to see printed. but I think we can all agree that a) wooters are dumb and b) two fables will be two fables too much this time around.

Guess I was trying to avoid coming out and saying it so directly. I’m a wimp.

Agreed on all parts.
Not sure why everyone is getting excited over the editor’s choice next week though. If it’s anything like last time, I’ll be hugely disappointed.

Really? I think more people would be willing to agree that you are overly cynical and critical of artists/shirt designers. Once again, if you think the people here are ‘dumb’, then you are more than welcome to leave us to dwell in our own stupidity.

I don’t think a single artist or shirt designer would, though. granted, you and I probably have vastly different definitions of “artist” and “shirt”

Oh, I know our definitions are quite different. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see an artist like Ramyb that you criticize on a weekly basis to have an opinion. And yes I do consider him an artist. Sure he might not produce something you may like, but he has proved he is able to produce unique art, like his steampunk butterfly (even if it doesn’t exactly fit the theme), alongside the “cutesy” shirts you don’t appreciate.

We also have vastly different interpretations of unique, I see
