Lenovo ThinkPad E450 Intel i5 Laptop

More on the Processor

1366x768

Why?

Do not want.

Bought a couple months ago from the mothership for $45 more. Put in 8gb ram and an SSD and this thing flies. Love the form factor. I don’t care about the resolution, but some might.

WTF is up with all these super low resolution screens? My phone has a 2560x1440 resolution, and it’s less than 6". This is 14" and isn’t even 1920x1080 . . .

Is the keyboard backlit?

Just ordered one - too good a deal to pass up, Wootmeister! Would welcome any suggestions or how-to guides/videos for installing a SSD.

When will woot be posting the Lenvo that they had the other day with the SSD HardDrive.

Agree. The rest looks good. Why the low-res “HD” screen?

Very easy. Get a SATA-USB cable (or a SATA external USB enclosure, to use the HDD as an external drive after the upgrade) and an SSD, hook up the ssd to the laptop and clone it. (Samsung SSDs have software, or use free Easeus backup, Acronis, etc. to clone). Then just swap the SSD into the laptop and boot up!

Why not knock some money off the price and don’t include any memory as just about everyone will upgrade.

for those wanting RAM & SSD upgrade, on Amazon this goes for $589.

Hey all you resolution “snobs”

While we’d love for every computer to be high-res, we’re at the mercy of closeouts/the mass market…

I’m amazed they’re still making these…

A few days ago woot had an Asus convertible with a 1080p screen for about this same price.

Upgraded to Windows 10 successfully. Worked fine, with very low usage, for about 1 week and now boots with BLACK screen. Any thoughts?
