One of my faves. I love my carbon gen 6.
The title says this is a 6th Gen but the Features say it has an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8550U Processor, so I guess it’s really an 8th Gen.
It is gen 6. The processor generations are ahead of the laptops. For example, the x1 gen 8 uses 10th generation processors, and the current x1 gen 10 uses 12th generation processors.

I think the only difference is that the other one has a backlit keyboard, and this one does not.

Maybe the lack of a backlit keyboard on this one will help me withstand the temptation.

for those wondering this is the same computer listed a few days ago at a higher price, and I did order it extremely happy with it and wanted to add that although the ad does not state it mine came as a touch screen and the keyboard was backlit cant beat that for the price
Have had a couple of Lenovos and the soldered RAM is what keeps me from going again. At 16GB, it might be a maybe, but needs touch and backlit keys. I’m spoiled now.
Nice! I’m looking forward to this replacing a clunky 10 year old e545. Would love if it showed up with that config, but also very happy with the specs as stated. Definitely seems like a great value. Hear almost nothing but good things about the x1 line.

I received mine, and couldn’t be more pleased. Just like another person here, mine came with a backlit keyboard, touch screen, and an 8650 processor. Definitely glad I picked one up.
