Sorry I haven’t had time to peruse through the new forums yet so I’m not sure if this is posted in the right place and/or if this topic has been addressed already but when the B o’ C just popped up I went to buy it (I was already logged in with my Amazon Prime login) and all of my payment info was gone and I had to enter it all again? Why would that be if I am logged in with Prime?? Amazon knows my info so if I am linked to it on Woot’s site, why doesn’t Woot recognize it anymore? The info used to all be there until today. Am I missing something?
Yup, clicked the “Login with Amazon” and the little pop up comes up and I signed in with the Amazon info. And the payment and shipping info is just blank. Very weird.
There’s been some weirdness with the log-ins reported. I trust “they” are working on it. If you were logging in/re logging in during a BOC, that happened before on the old forums too.
Thanks for the input. I can’t imagine I’m the only one experiencing issues. It’s funny because I spent all that time talking about it here but never put any info in so when that latest BOC just popped up, I still didn’t have any info put in! I shockingly was still able to snag one even after having to input all my info. So thankfully it worked out in the end just a weird occurrence I think.
I have mostly the same payment methods loaded on both the amazon login and the non-amazon login, so I’m still able to purchase things. I have noticed, however, inconsistent behavior on the checkout page. Sometimes I see all the amazon payment options and sometimes it’s like it’s picking my default woot payment method even though I’m getting free prime shipping. Super odd…
Go to Account & Lists → Your Account (sign in if you have to).
Under “Other Accounts” select Login with Amazon.
Find Woot in the list.
It should say:
This connection allows access to:
* Updates you make to the following profile info.
* Name: <YOUR NAME>
* Email address: <YOUR EMAIL>
* Your Prime status
* Any Amazon shipping addresses selected during checkout.
If any of these is missing, we can’t pull in your addresses.
So I just went to try it again and the login with Amazon was different today. It didn’t have the Email & Password blocks - just a “Login in to Amazon?” Yes or No buttons. Not sure if they were changing something yesterday or what…
In order to try it out, I added the tablet on the main page to my cart and went to checkout and all the info was there like normal. So I’m not sure but for now things are back to what they were and I am able to use my Prime login.
