mberry Miracle Fruit Tablets - 20 Tablets

Dubious? yes. I was, too. And then we had a miracle fruit party, and it was easily the most profound food experience I’ve ever had. We were eating lemons straight, and it was like the most delicious, amazing lemonade ever. Also amazing: tomatoes. Red Bull was actually drinkable. Hot sauce was incredible - you don’t taste the sauce at all, just the hot. But that kills the effect quicker.

Worth the money. In for three.

In for three as well. These things are in fact amazing. Vinegar tastes like syrup, sour cream has a frosting type taste…

Just be careful that you don’t drink a full glass of vinegar and straight lemon juice… and a few other things that your mouth will find tasty, but your stomach… not so much.

I speak from experience.

Turns sour foods to sweet!
Perfect for “flavor tripping” parties.
10 tablets per packet
As seen on CNN, CSI, and the New York Times

Lol, ehhhh, my son thinks fruit IS candy

milk just came out my nose

I’ve never had this brand of M-Berry tablets before but, I have had them. And while the experience is short lived, it is neat to have your taste buds sort of reversed and have sour foods taste kind of sweet.

Just in case your interested they actually do contain the glycoprotein “Miraculin”.

Yes it is. Powdered fruit and corn starch.

Me and my friends had a Mberry party once with a whole bunch of different foods. it was a lot of fun and weird. After a while you kind of want it to stop, but it is a fun experience. Good for people with a sweet tooth.

guessin these will be in everyones BOC
cant wait

I gave one of these to my W00T monkey and it actually brought him to life!

Miracle’s perform they do!

I plan on eating these then trying shots of all different liquors to find out which one tastes best. I will report back after the hangover.

With the caveat that you need to take maybe 4 of these tablets to have the same effect as a single fresh berry, they’re pretty good. In for 3.

I can’t get the berries at the moment with the heat in South Texas being around 105 degrees - the postman leaves them on the doorstep, they bake in the sun for 4 hours, all the dry ice evaporates, and the berries become totally ineffectual. (Like you have to take 10 to 20 of them to have the effect that a fresh one would have)

A choking hazard for ages under 5? How does it know how old you are? How does it know not to choke, say, a 7 year old? Now, that’s a miracle!

One of my friends bought a bunch of these the other night and we had a big tasting party that turned out pretty sweet! Most sour things turn sweet, sweeter things get more sweet, and hot things are definitely muted.

Basically, you let these things dissolve in your mouth and coat your taste buds and then it just temporarily changes how things taste!

Some of the best experiments:
Lemons taste like nice sweet lemonade.
SUN DRIED TOMATOES. I’m not sure why they were so good, but they were phenomenal.
Everclear tastes like top shelf vodka.
Hot sauce can be sipped straight from the bottle.
One of my friends got really into sour cream (ate half a tub straight), but it wasn’t for me.

But for 10 bucks, get a pack and get a bunch of friends together and have a tasting party. They only last for like half an hour to an hour or so, but none of us really found ourselves wishing for a lot more time with it - 30-60 minutes is plenty of time for a little food experimentation!

Enjoy!

You’re correct. it’s a good price here. That’s why I’m in for 2. But it seems there’s only one pack left.

Yes,however,they’ll be a little smaller. X

Rumor has it they are up for Sainthood because of all the miracles.

ok THAT is funny!

Not fresh fruit. Sorry, forgot one key word. Yes, it’s powdered, but I guess I don’t think of powder as real fruit.

Oh, and one more thing. Since these make acidic foods taste sugary, my diabetic friends love them. They can taste sugar without actually eating sugar.

Might get some for next time I get a stomach bug… Then I can barf in dairy queen flavors.
