Monster Cable Beats Tour Earphones

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA… oh wait. April 1 was like 3 months ago.
Lol, you guys are cute for thinking that $120 is a lot. They’re a lot of money for shitty beats garbage, but nowhere near expensive for earbuds. The pair I use now was $450.

Yes, they are worth it.
I think you and I have two VERY DIFFERENT definitions of the phrase “worth it”…

SUUUUUUUURRREEE…$120 for ear-buds to listen to crappy music that’s been sampled down to 128Kps!
The same thing that makes an HDMI cable worth $120. It says “Monster Cable” on it, and having them makes you cool and chic.
Unlike HDMI cables, there ARE things that would make a set of headphones worth $120. This pair, though, has none of them. Unless you value earbud fashion appeal at $100.

If we all click ‘I want one’ but don’t complete the sale will that clear them out of the current Woot?

Holy triplets, Batman! Someone bought three of them! They must have won the lottery.

Since they are noise cancelling ear buds, will they drown out the sound of me crying because I spent $120 on headphones?

This will go well with Best Buy’s $1000 HDMI Cable

1 word besides woot killer. Ridiculous. :frowning:

Go to Home, great every day dishes for a great price!

It would have to Bose for me to think about spending that kind of cash for ear buds.
Bose is a much better ear bud for $100. I have a pair and love them. Beats are decent sounding but mostly they are a status symbol - like Apple’s IPod was a few years ago.

Are these Fleetwood Maac compatible?

seems they have about 30-35 of these

c/net reviews give them a solid 2.0 (outta 5.0), with 29 reviewers. Lol.

Oh cool! This is a steal… for Monster. Beats are still overpriced on this “deal”… I mean they gotta pay Dr. Dre for his face and name right? Pass. This should go away like now. I feel bad for any suckers that bought even one. Nothing more than a status symbol. I won’t even touch on the audio or quality.
Monstrously overpriced.
Hey, watch out, Monster will sue you for using Monstrously…oh wait a minute, I just said Monster…did it again…

we need over 30 people with bedazzled iPods to buy up these 35 earphones.

I am still at wonder about the one person in CA that bought 3 for a price of $360!! Do they expect to lose one, or are there kids getting great independence day gifts, or do they need individual earphones for each digital media player?

Hopefully the extras can be in a bee oh cee
Quite possibly. But when I can hear new instruments in albums I’ve been listening to for 10 years, it seems worth it to me.

$120. At this price, I’d expect the earphones to magically turn all my Indy music into something resembling U2 instead…
There are headphones/earbuds that actually are arguably worth that price to people who care deeply about audio. These…are not.
I actually know a guy who is very passionate about audio and sound quality and that is what he works for. But you are right, these are not worth the money.
what could make a set of ear phones worth $120?
Well Beats Audio is a project that was developed by Dr. Dre to produce superior sound quality. So here’s the price breakdown:

$20 for the manufacturing in china, shipping, packaging, etc.

$100 for Dr. Dre to wipe his @$$ with.
