Why can’t Woot use FedEx instead of UPS? This and another order were supposed to be delivered today but magically they are both delayed which usually means that UPS “lost” them. They won’t deliver on the weekends like FedEx does either, so why are they still being used?

I got an email from CS saying that I need to file a claim with UPS in order for them to initiate a refund. Since when it is on the buyer to file a claim? Is this what Woot is doing now?

I need a Phone Number for the shipper to complete the claim and guess what I don’t have or know?

It’s actually standard but I think more than a claim, is to reach out to them and ask them where it is. That will trigger an investigation.

I believe if you do it online, you don’t need the phone number.

I am doing it online and a phone number is required.

Just put your phone number. If they call (they probably won’t), point them to support@woot.com.

Why is this on me? I did nothing wrong except trust that I would get the item I ordered. I’m not the shipper. The box clearly asks for their phone number. I have an UPS account so my phone is in their system and at the bottom of the page. All they need to ignore me is to see that and claim that I am not being truthful.

UPS is the one at fault here. We’re asking you to reach out to them to ask them to trace. For further information or questions please reach out to customer service.

I got them to investigate but I can’t do anything with CS until I get a claim number from them. But in the meantime I’m sure my CC is already accruing interest.

And without knowing who the shipper is or having anyway to contact them, if UPS contacts me about what the package looks like, I have no idea. Was it shipped in a box that advertised what was in it or was it in a plain brown over box? I can’t tell them anything.

CS answered you today. The shipper is Amazon via UPS. “We are at UPS mercy right now. He can file the claim and give us the info, even if they deny it. And we can refund him once we get that claim info.”

Yeah I know CS contacted me today. That was the email I was referring to about needing a claim number. There has been no other email sent from Woot today. And as far as being shipped from Amazon that is news to me. It isn’t on the sale page, orders page, or in the details of the sale. It does however say “Sold by Woot”. And if there was that “fulfilled by Amazon” pic and it was removed after the sale, I ask why would it be removed?

The mobile version has it, but not the desktop one.

I just refreshed and still not here on the desktop. I thought maybe it was a bad page load but nope.

When I have the page in mobile view, it’s there. But when I switch to desktop, it’s gone.

Strange. You’d think that there would be more info on desktop.
