Features
- Optimized for North American GSM Carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Boost, Metro…).
- Will NOT work on CDMA carriers like Verizon, US Cellular Or Sprint
What does this mean for Sprint customers who were converted to T-mobile customers because Sprint was bought out by T-mobile?
Does this mean this phone won’t work for Sprint-now-T-mobile customers?
Our apologies. There is a veteran who is in this situation, and we thought this might be a good option for him.
Thank you to anyone who might be able to help us with this.
p.s. Sprint/T-mobile was contacted, but we are still waiting on a proper response.![]()
It’s my understanding that sprint’s cellular network was sold separately (I considered acquiring it for my company to use) and legacy sprint users have been converted over to the t-mobile network.
Not 100% positive, but 90% positive.
Youre correct. CDMA is being sunset, and all Sprint users were moved to T-Mobile’s GSM. As long as person in question isnt still directly paying their bill to the Sprint entity within T-Mobile.
Thanks guys we will check with the veteran to see who he is paying his bill to.

Long time Sprint user with a bunch of lines here. Call them up and have them send out a new SIM card. It’ll be a T-Mobile SIM.
All the phones I’ve purchased in the last few years have been unlocked GSM and haven’t had an issue switching to the T-Mobile network.
I’m still on Sprint plans but using T-Mobile networks.
Which Ducati is your favorite?
Thanks for posting!
We will get the veteran to change the SIM card out.![]()
