One-Touch Can Opener

One-Touch Can Opener

Don’t do it. This thing is awful.

It is extremely slow and takes 3 or 4 passes to cut a standard can, if it makes it through at all. It lacks the needed power to actually be a useful tool.

When I injured my wrist a few years back I got one at Marshall’s that looked like a Toucan bill. It worked great and lasted about 4 yrs. So helpful.

AGREE! It takes the whole top of the can off and it takes forever to do it. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::face_with_spiral_eyes:

I agree that this style of can opener can be highly useful. THIS model being sold is ineffective and slow at only partially opening a can at each pass. If you want a can opener that opens cans, I’d suggest anything else.

I am glad that someone else said something. Got this. Lasted one full cut. It sounded like it was going to take off like an airplane.

I’m thinking of replacing mine but the toucan style is no longer made. The current #1 on Amazon is Kitchen Mama.

I have used a similar style can opener purchased from Amazon several years ago (not this brand). It works great. The price I paid was about the same or less than the sale price of this one on Woot. $50 retail price? $18 clearance? This is a complete joke.
