As a newbie, how can one tell if these wines are sweet or not? The notes for this one seem to indicate it’s sweet, but hard to tell.

To be honest they are ok wines, had them before, but they are overpriced to begin with. We buy a lot of Australian wines and have been to wineries themselves several times. This is an average wine with this deal it comes now at an average price.
Man does this look like an awesome deal and an awesome wine.
If I wasn’t closing on a house at the end of the month I’d be in on this. As it is I have to buy a miter saw, lawn mower, washer and dryer, paint, carpet, lights, locks, ladders, etc, etc, etc…Oh well.

I hate to say it, but I’m with cessna007. Way back in the day, before there was a wine.woot (although not before woot), I was thrilled to buy a semi-set of Penfold Bin at Costco.
Sadly, given the hype I’d read, the wine wasn’t as marvellous as they said. I still have some (don’t remember the year), but honestly I was pulling for Ty Caton this week.
But if you’re never had it, you may love it. Apparently a lot of people do, and I’m just weird. Which I sort of knew, anyway.
Now that the world (or at least AUS) is open to wine.woot, do we have reason to fear a YellowTail offering? [grin]
