I like how the picture has the screen with ‘No Signal.’

I would have bit if it came with a trial subscription, oh well pass.

Looks like a great deal…
Its like 300$ on froogle.

already have too many XM receivers! I got hooked on XM, its pretty awesome. I never thought I would recommend paying for radio, but dear lord, its amazing.

No Bluetooth.

I bought it when it was on sellout a few weeks back. So far i really like it.

So when the merger between XM and Sirius is complete with this be proprietary and become obsolete?

I noticed that too. The picture must have been taken deep within Woot’s dungeons.

No bluetooth. But this thing is a STEAL! I bought my Helix (same thing just made by Samsung) on CLEARANCE with my EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT for $179.99! This device is amazing, although I reccomend the headphone-antenna combos you can get through XM because the antenna needs to see the southern sky in order to get reception. Although you can just load it up with music and record live xm songs too which is awesome!

Mel Karmazin has said that no radios currently on the market, Sirius or XM will be obsolete when this merger is FINNALY fucking consummated.

Details on getting 50% off on service:

-Activate service by calling 1-800-XM-RADIO.

-Request the $77/yr rate - be sure to mention the code “ZWINBACK”.

-If the rep denies the deal to you, just hangup and call back…It’s never taken me more than one try.

-Sometimes, if you ask nicely, they’ll waive the $10 activation fee too.

-Also, in some cases, if you offer to leave your credit card number on file with them, they may give you another $12.95 off! (Otherwise it’s $155/yr + activation fee of $10).

This thing have a line out? so I can use it as a carry around? Or hook it to some speakers in the garage.

I bought this from sellout.woot as well. I like it. The internal antenna is fairly specific and loses signal often when not facing south, but still not too bad. I never thought I would pay for radio either, but an 8 hr road trip makes this thing a pretty nice gadget to have.

Does this use the same antenna jack as say, a roady xt?

$105 refurb on ebay w/ 2 year mystery warranty.

I remember when the MyFi first came out for XM. Boy was that thing a load in my pants…

Seriously, it was very heavy.

Also the reception sucked unless you wore that goofy antenna.

No radios will be harmed in the merger, from what XM told me.

Many of their subscribers have them hardwired in their cars direct from the factory.

Woohoo! I’m in for 3
