Great price for a 4K set, Seiki owns the low end of this market at the moment.
But only $11 less than the current Amazon price (965.99, free shipping).
Waiting for 8k. In 5 years this will be the equivalent of a 720p TV.

At 120Hz, will it do 3d?

It does 4K, which by my math is one number and seven letters higher. So it’s better.

So how long before there’s any content available that I can see how much better these are than 1080?

Microsoft and Sony said that while their consoles will be compatible with 4K TVs, they aren’t even putting any effort into 4K because the data capacity would be ridiculous.

Sony already has a 4k on demand video service. Video Unlimited, I believe. Press Release
