Not too long ago, the “XL base” version of this was available but I missed it. Does anyone remember how much it was going for? Wondering if I should wait for it to come back around or settle for this.
I bought the XL (RV2510 model I think) for $159.99 last October.
I bought the Matrix model in March for 169.99 and I love it.

Does anyone have the following problems with their shark?
- sometimes has trouble returning to dock even though it is 1 feet away ready to back up, but totally docked successfully to empty and resume?
- goes into do not go areas?
Yeah, this has been my experience too. I figure for the cost, it doesn’t come with a whole lot of brain cells, but it does the job well enough for now. I’ll get another brand when this one dies, but I bought a refurb of this one over a year ago and it’s still doing it’s thing. The app doesn’t get any better and neither does the vac, but poor little MegaMaid, she tries.
I have this model and the matrix model. Both were refurbished and have worked well so far. I’ve had this model for about two years and got it here on Woot. I think I paid $180 for it then, so this looks like a good deal to me.
I bought this model a while back. It’s ok. The little brush gets beat up. The bumper leaves a black mark all over my white baseboard. I like the self empty feature. It also fits under all of my furniture.
My dog hates it. I have to run it while she’s out of the house. The app is handy for this reason. I can start it after we have left the house. So yay app!
This replaced a Neat-o that was getting pretty long in the tooth. It constantly got hung up under furniture so I tried shimming our couch off the floor a little. I feel like the Neat-o had stronger suction.
If you have several people with long hair in the house, check the brush on a regular basis and remove the wrapped hair on the beater bar.
It’s meh.
The SharkClean app is bad. On my vacmop AI model it never shows 100% battery, it’s always 90% charging.
Also the pinch to zoom function will almost always interfere with you accidentally touching the room itself and messing up the boundaries.
I bought the refurbished Shark XL HEPA self-empty back in June 2023 $180 and it’s been fantastic. I don’t have any stay-out areas set but it maps the house very well. Empties itself and finishes the house and recharges all by itself like a big boy! Very happy with this purchase!
I have the big one as well (from woot) i had to clear dust from the sensor area one time and that was it. Does amazing in a 2 cat household
