I *really* wish Woot! would stop with the "nn% off List" BS. List prices are in fact BS, and not even remotely a reliable indicator of discount. This exact model is available, on the mothership no less, for only $12.00 more. So for $12.00 more you get *much, much easier* returns (well, typically), and it's "sold by Woot, fulfilled by Amazon" there.

So why bother, I wonder? Where is the $12.00 savings for Woot! by selling here vs. on the mothership?

List Price = MSRP, manufacturer’s dream price. It’s not the Amazon price.

I don’t like it either but that’s the hand we’re dealt.

No offense intended, kiddo! Just venting some frustration. I do yearn a little for when the deals here were far more limited (even the one-a-day from the ancient times), and the discounts were worth chasing. There’s so much here…noise for me. I wish wish wish there was a search function, or a way to set up alerts for certain products…
