Post a Blendtec blender and then we’ll talk.
I have a different Vitamix blender. Had it for over a decade and the company has been very helpful when I needed assistance. They really stand behind their product.
Agree. Had a small issue today & just needed some info & they were so nice!
This is a great price for a true kitchen tool that will last & may help your health.
Happy Wootiversary!
Thank you!
I jokingly call Vitamix “The Six Million Dollar Blender” - the wife is not amused. They actually are very high quality.
My biggest gripe is we had one of the old chrome ones years ago (paid a ton for it, hence the name). It worked great for decades and then the gear drive broke, making the entire unit a piece of scrap. Vitamix was zero help - they had changed the drive system (I assume because we weren’t the only ones with the broken gear).
I strongly disagree. I detest my Blendtec. They have at least 4 major engineering defects that make them far inferior to a Vitamix. Just because they can blend an iPhone doesn’t mean they make good smoothies!
I’m assuming since it doesn’t say anything about it that it does not come with any kind of warranty.
Can anyone tell me for certain whether this is covered by the Vitamix warranty?
Is the container glass or plastic?
From the bottom of the features:
Warranty: 5 Year Warranty
Vendor confirmed that it’s plastic.
Why doesn’t Vitamix make a glass container?
There is no glass jar for any high-speed blender. Vitamix has said that this is because of safety concerns. They do not want a glass jar to shatter when someone accidentally drops a metal spoon into it when it’s running.
Also must add that the Vitamix is the BEST blender I have ever owned. The customer service is also impeccable.
We had a small power issue after 2 years and they replaced the entire unit.
I have a commercial Vitamix that is over 25 years old (we once owned a small restaurant many many years ago and used it for smoothies). This thing is still going strong today. Would highly recommend Vitamix if you want a blender that lasts
My experience with Vitamix blenders has been …ahem… A mixed bag. One unit I bought, the gear drive bit the dust after 2 years. Luckily it was a Costco purchase and I swapped it for a newer model. The newer model is working great many years later. I have bought a couple as gifts that have been trouble free.
This is such a deal!
It has an upgraded motor from my 750 Pro and the only down side it is a little louder. (750 runs at 82-87 dbs, this one is 89-92 ish but most uses are for very short time frames).
It’s Lexan. Very tough polycarbonate. Cleans up easily in dushwasher.
Wait, is that a Blendtec?
