I see a lot of these refurbished Vizio sound bars on Woot, do they have a really high failure rate?

Mine died just over a year which was factory reconditioned. Vizio wouldn’t help. I’ve read other older comments on the 46" and 50" models that died between 1 and 2 years.

Mine never moved. The sub just stopped turning on and without the sub, the sound bar sounds pretty weak.

I JUST bought this exact same unit (the 5.1) at Walmart in their clearance for $100 new. Gotta say, I’m really impressed with the sound and how easy it was to set up (I have a Vizio Cast TV we just got too, and it connects really easily). For the price, it’s a great sound - especially since TVs now have really poor speakers that point away from you. Cannot speak to longevity since we’ve had it less than a week - but hopeful!
