Whistle While You Wreck

Rather cute design, and nicely executed, but not for me. Pirates just aren’t my thing. (Although I am quite fond of salty sea-men.)

hahahahahahaha

Great design, but I would have loved it on a black shirt more. I might still buy it though.

Alright what a cool design, and I can’t pass up another asphalt shirt!

Hmmm, this shirt had originally been submitted to Threadless in 2007 (I think). I found the voting page for it. Obviously wasn’t printed. Hmmm… This is when I do get disappointed. I wish shirts that WOOT printed would be specifically designed for WOOT and not “rejects” from other sites. Please don’t ask me to link that page; I have yet to figure out how to do that.

it’s easy enough to do http://www.threadless.com/submission/139422/Whistle_While_You_Wreck

First Woot! Picked up this shirt as I liked the design…Great job! Was browsing the whole week for one I liked and this one is the one that had me pull the trigger.

[QUOTE=WarholBot, post:32, topic:184570]
it wasn’t tweaked for Halloween, its a ship versus the “monstrous” sea.

Thanks for the explanation.

I’m still left scratching my head over the jackolantern… Fish, sea serpents, ghosts, skeletons, and ghouls I could see… but, in my mind, a jackolantern just doesn’t fit… In any case. I do like the design, I just would have tweaked it a little.

David

Thanks, JadenKale. I just know the basic cut and paste doesn’t work (or inserting the little heart for AOL users).

Ick, that gives me flashbacks to Computer Science class in high school (mid '80s). Coding and programming. But yes, does seem fairly simple.

I LOVE the colors and the design, but I think it’s one of those shirts where you have to explain it. Not loving the ocean and the whole “threadless” thing either. The design seems to also be really detailed, which is bad from my experience. I’ll pass.

Screaming Monkey’s Posting Guide! sorry bout that I got carried away.

22 pages of ‘how to post and link’ that most can be answered in 3 mins. That seems a tad extreme.

Have you been printed on Woot before? Can you link?

Well you gotta look at it from the artist’s point of view. If this were a short story submitted to a particular magazine, you as the writer wouldn’t trash the story simply because one magazine rejected it. You’d submit it to another magazine! Otherwise there would be a lot of wasted effort and all sorts of wonderful creations would never see print…

great shirt, warholbot!
definitely not the normal fare around here lately, great change of pace…

This kills me… I love most of Warholbot’s works, but not this one… what to do, what to do? Buy on principle (buy from an amazing shirt artist), or stay away on principle (do not buy because I probably wouldn’t wear it)… Arrggghhh!
