Woot Return Policy

Haven’t seen a return policy anywhere – unless it’s a defective product. I can’t believe they don’t have return policy info in there F.A.Q.'s but they don’t…anyone have information for me?

I got a digital camera and I’m not happy with it, its slower than my OLD camera…maybe the image quality is better but that’s the only thing better.

Thanks.
Justin

Better bet is to open up an account on Amazon or e-bay and sell it.

Even if they had a “Buyers remorse” return policy, you’ll most likely sell for a profit and make money anyway.

The caveat to that it a few wooters already buy three and sell immediately on e-bay, so to get a better price you’ll have to wait a few days.

I chose the wrong pillow top, there were 3 options. can i change my option somehow?

I bought a media player which is totally crap, I wouldn’t sell it on ebay, I need to protect my reputation.

I have a digital camera that is not compatible with my computer, but even if it was, I would return it, being really discouraged with the quality of the product

Also, I have GPS that is so complicated I cannot even set it up

I want to return both

This is a perfect solution (well, almost perfect!) My hubby and I each bought each other the same item for Christmas, so I have no use for another Kodak photo viewer! I’ll just post it on eBay or Craigslist as unopened, and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion!

August 2009, I bought an ACER computer for my kids which just stopped working at the end of December. For Xmas I bought my kids video cameras from Woot.com, whose software I have come to find out, is only compatible with PC’s. I use a Mac.

So now they have a dead computer and can’t view their video cameras.
Thanks Woot.com for being so vague about your return policies and so unwilling to take responsibility for selling faulty products. You suck!

You failed to read the policy, and now decide it’s vague?

I’ve never understood the desire to return things because of buyers remorse. . … which less face it failure to read full product descriptions and do a quick Google search to confirm your assumptions really leads to buyers remorse. I mean I know Walmart doesn’t care, but is it really a valid reason, and on the electronics and refurbs Woot usually places the warranty information fairly prominently on the description (usually multiple times).

This is not the perfect solution. I just bought an Asus laptop that doesn’t turn on. The perfect solution to buying an electronic device isn’t to resell it to some unsuspecting schmo. The perfect solution would be for woot.com to have a return policy.

so they actually dun have one??? even for defects?

FAQs…not just for the cool kids.

Yes, They do have a return policy. You may have to pay for their defective product.
Following is what they replied me for their defective Roomba I bought:
“Please be advised, per terms of our website, that you will be responsible for the costs associated with return shipping.”

I’ve had good luck with iRobot support for when my woot Roomba died. Their call line leaves a lot to be desired, but the replacement Roomba arrived the day after I shipped mine (so it was already on it’s way before I got my tail to the UPS store) and I think they sent a shipping label, I don’t remember it was a few years ago. Woot clearly states in their FAQ that defective products are handled primarily by manufacturers.

I’ve got instant buyer’s remorse over that darn Sony Dash. Just hit the button half an hour ago. Is there truly no way to CANCEL an order that hasn’t shipped yet?

Message support right away. If it’s still in the factory it’s easier for them to accommodate. It is harder during woot-offs, but that’s not a problem right now. Either way someone should email you in the AM if you email now.

Woot return policy - with very few exceptions - if you ordered it, you bought it.

There is no buyer’s remorse policy.

They sell limited quantities, so color or option changes can’t work.

They clearly spell out what to do to return defective products (doa) at the bottom of the page when you click on “Write us” link.

Read the area that tells how to try to cancel an order or how to send for an rma for defective products. Don’t expect a replacement. They usually don’t have any left. But you usually can return doa products.

It’s all there. Just make sure you use correct contact option for your purpose.
