Woot sucks now, I think I am done.

I placed a large order for several of the NOCO Boost jump starters - total price was over 800 bucks. They posted the full amount to my bank card at order placement, then again when the order was fulfilled. They tied up over 1600 bucks in my account for several days. Only an idiot would want to piss off their customer every time they place an order.

Then, to add insult to injury, I received exactly half of the product for which I paid. Yes, I have contacted CS (again).

I think that I’ve had enough of this BS.

OK

“OK” - what?

You’ll have to please forgive @labboypro. He’s one of those hyper-engaged fellows on the forums here.

It sounds like your deal went very sideways. I can understand why you’re done and need to vent

It’s the middle of the night so staff probably won’t be able to answer until the morningtime.

Yeah, thanks for your understanding. I’ve been customer of Woot for, I’m guessing, 15-20 years. In general, I have been one of their happy customers. Oh, well, there was that one time when I had to return a “refurbished” laptop which included someone’s mustache/beard hair embedded in the keyboard. That issue was simply fixed with a return label.

But, the order I mentioned above was the first I’ve made since they require an Amazon account/pay. It is simply ridiculous that the policy is to post the full order amount twice to my account. That might be tolerable when ordering a $5 thumb drive, but not for larger orders. It might also be tolerable when one pays with a credit card, but not when using a debit card with hard-earned money backing it.

… then that same order arrived only half fulfilled. Grrrrr!

That is very frustrating, really sorry for that crappy experience. :frowning: I am reaching out to our CS team immediately and hopefully we can make this right. Thanks for being a Woot customer and caring enough to share this in the Forums.

You’ll have to please forgive @therealjrn. He’s one of those self-righteous fellows who likes to assert faux apologia on the forums here.
