Froogled

i have the 26" version-- its a GREAT TV!!

Own one of these, got it from Wallyworld for $240 about 6 months ago and have nothing to say about it but WOW! We mounted it at the end of the bed and it is crystal clear, HD cable is perfect 1080i, couldn’t be happier and highly recommend it.

Would there be a downside to simply using this as a monitor (for the PC I bought here 2 days ago)?
…I suppose not having a DVI port…

I have this model, bought it new for around 200 last year. It’s a fine size for bedroom, office, etc. Nice and slim, very good picture, looks great with Blu Rays even though 720p (shouldn’t matter much at this size). Very crisp picture from cable with no box, even picks up HBO on my cable system for some reason. The logo is always lit, a kind of orange color when off, bright white when on. The remote is not lighted. Seems to be very well made, has a quality look to it. It has very good volume-most times I have it set to a very low number and I can hear it clearly across the bedroom. Actually very good sound from the built in speakers.

I don’t think there’s any downside. I have the 20" version that I use mainly as a computer monitor. Once in a while I’ll switch the input over to TV. The image quality is pretty decent and the remote is easy to use. I’m tempted to get this 22" model…

I’ve had this television for almost a year now. It runs beautifully. I use it for my xbox and the picture is beautiful. I’ve used it as an external projection device with my laptop without problems. The “HD audio” that’s built in is actually pretty good. You’ll have to tweak the color scheme a bit when you first get it, but that’s true with a lot of HDTVs. The TV has one problem though, when using a VGA device like a game console or computer you have very limited controls over the picture. The presets and other custom picture settings don’t work in VGA mode.

30" Dell and 65" Woot special Olevia… time for you to upgrade

Only that in VGA mode you can’t adjust the color scheme. There are a lot fewer options in the menu too when using this with VGA.

Reviews look good and its an excellent price…I’m in!

Wow. I was actually just about to buy this exact same TV from Overstock.com for about $60 more. Thanks, woot!

So is there something wrong with this TV for it to be on Woot for this cheap?

Okay folks! I have bought one for the travel trailer and I hope it is as good as you all say it is.

A bit nervous that it is refurbished though… but at this price it seems worth it to take the plunge.

*obsessing over refurb… *

PEACE

I imagine it wouldn’t support resolutions higher than 1280x720, and you wouldn’t have the option to increase the framerate for use with some programs.

If only 47"
