If I had room to store this I’d be in for one. I got it last time and it was good after it had time to breathe. I think it may need some time to cellar for a while before being it’s best.
Ah - the second Woot Cellars offering of the Woot-Off. Does this bode well for a NEW Woot Cellars wine???
Is this the same 2008 we had back in April?
Appears to be the same one. We enjoyed that offering, so I’m in for 2 here.
In for 1, I would be in for a case but I already have 11 bottles aging nicely in the cellar. I ratted the original offering and it has a lot of promise, in addition to being good right now!
After a summer of working hard to reduce the size of our wine stockpile, I am backsliding fast. Two woots this week, five in the last month… my wife is going to be po’d.
I bought this last time - still have two bottles in the rack. Pretty good juice now, but needs some more time in the bottle IMO to really wake up. Buy some, drink a few and save the rest for later.
In for 2 more, Christmas will be here soon and always like to gift some woot wine goodness.
Monkey=Buy!
In for 3.
Anyone in Reston/Sterling area of Northern Virginia interested in a split. I am just looking for 3 bottles. Thanks.
Hey, this isn’t Corison or Lioco!
Although, consecutive wine offerings could mean that we won’t have as many woot-killing food items and we may still get to Corison or Lioco!
Still have five of six doing time in the cellar from the original offering. I’m tempted…
Bought 2nd Prize in April, opened a bottle, but was unimpressed (my error, it went directly from bottle to glass). The cellar tracker linked reviews (thanks Cesare) lead me to believe that it needs to be open in a decanter for 3 hours, possibly refrigerated. Do the wine pros have any recommendation on how long it should be cellared?
RaiderSPE, I’ll split it with you. I’m in Vienna.
See PM.

Yeah, nothing’s jumping out for me that screams “ready to drink” right now.
Don’t really have room to store a bunch for a while, so I might have to pass on this as much as I’d like to try some…
Same as the “Pedroncelli 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Vineyards” from what I recall in past threads.
Two Pedro’s in a row.
Already bought Too Damn Much Wine this week (bad timing for a wootoff) but if I hadn’t then I would be in for a repeat order of this. Get 2 and use em as stocking stuffers/Thanksgiving couch-pounders.
