Derby Preview #821: Shirts to Wear With Jeans

Just make a shirt that looks good with jeans.

No politics, no cream shirts.
No celebrity likenesses in mockups/detail images.
One design per entry (yes, you can still submit multiple designs to the Derby, just sub them separate).

**This Derby begins MONDAY July 5th at 8pm, CST. & ends MONDAY July 12th at 8pm, CST. The three winning designs will be featured as the Daily offers Tuesday-Thursday. Great designs that don’t win may be included in an Editor’s Choice sale on Friday, so be sure to check back and see who makes the cut!

Please be sure to have your artwork ready to submit with your entry as part of the new submission process!

So, ummm, l’m just curious. Have I been wearing t-shirts wrong all these years? I guess I thought that jeans went with anything.

Or is that Woot’s clever way of saying this is a freestyle anything/goes derby?

Or is there really some agreed-upon societal expectation—some memo I must have missed—for what constitutes an appropriate jeans shirt?

Or is there something else going on here?

OMG—what if I’m not overthinking this enough?

Is there a link to the photoshop and illustrator templates that are not broken. Non of the illustrator ones will even open, and the PS ones don’t feature a layer with a visible shirt, its just color layers. Any help is appreciated. thanks

What version of Illustrator/PS are you using? If they’re old sometimes they can’t open the newer templates

I don’t even use that template any more. It bogs down my computer too much. I just keep the color selection simple with black, navy, royal blue, white, and heather gray for 95% of my designs.
