Indeed, it is surreal the lengths to which some people will go to find something to complain about. We limited the shirt color this time because we want some variety in the offerings here, and things were starting to get a little monochromatic. Believe it or not, it’s not all about sales. But we’re confident the winner of this Derby will sell out the way every other one has, anyway.

Yeah… I can see how supplies of colored strands of cotton compare with the supplies of a complex gaming console composed of proprietary graphics cards, motion controls, programs, memory chips and various elements like gold and silver. Good comparison.
What do you want to bet jamescho is hard at work on a little drawing of a man not wanting to ask for directions. I can actually see it in my head, as if it was already printed in the Reader’s Digest funnies page.

Jist joined today huh? How about a forum rule that you can’t post if you have zero woots? ahhhhh that would be nice. C’mon Jason… I know I give you a hard time… but this is a good idea… truce?!?

you’d lose that bet since i’m not entering any designs.
I would probably use that kind of simple styling (using t-shirt color as bg / country would be in darker color than bg or lighter) and the lights of the cities. Then using a pixel line, draw plane routes across the cities and small icons of planes like in the picture. Might be cool
haha…i run a print shop (Galactic Printing) and our place looks EXACTLY like that, with the open buckets of plastisol on racking everywhere. although, we do not eat the plastisol.

thanks, but no thanks. I’ll tell you what my t-shirt design would’ve been if I were to enter though :). (anyone can use this if they want) -

I wish I could draw…I still think you ought to enter

before I go and vectorize this … does anyone want to collaborate (and help with a catchy saying) on this with me (split winnings if it happens) … or comment to let me know if I should even take the time to do it. Thanks wooters!

Heh. Too esoteric, but here’s a caption “How Al Gore plans to win the 2008 election.”
LIke I said, probably not obvious enough to merit further thought. Most people will have to stare far too long to realize that FL is missing from the map.
EDIT: just noticed the musical reference on the review. Clever, but too subtle.
Hey guys, I just made a design… but I dont really know how to do all the things that are required to get it up for woot. Would someone mind telling me what programs you use to resize, vectorise (i dont even know what that means!) ect. ?
Also, I used a public domain image, and made alterations, and I still dont know how to get it to just six colors. Surely there is a program for all this?
