Hello wooters! We’re on a mission to get you to update your email address on your Woot! account.
Did you know that our daily digest, newsletters, customer support emails, and giveaway winner notifications go to the email address on your Woot! account and not your Amazon login email address if used/different? That’s right. Even if you use Login with Amazon (LWA), please keep your email address on your woot.com account up to date.
If you have forgotten your Woot! password and no longer have access to your old email address, click here to jump down to those instructions.
Why must you do this, you ask? It’s simple. Amazon prides itself on protecting customer data. Third party companies, like Woot, that use Amazon’s Login with Amazon widget do not have access to your Amazon login credentials. You type it in to the code/widget they give us, it goes to Amazon for verification, and we get back a yes or no. That’s it. We do not have a way to view your Amazon login email.
Older Woot! Accounts: If you joined before Login with Amazon and now use LWA, please make sure to update the email address on your Woot Sign-In.
Woot! Accounts Created with LWA: If you’ve used LWA from the start with Woot!, your login email was saved to your Woot! account. HOWEVER, if you update your email on Amazon, it does not update on Woot! You must also update your email on Woot!
Forgotten Password: If you’ve forgotten your password to your Woot! account, you can use the “Forgot your password?” link and an email will be sent to let you reset the password. If you no longer have access to the email account on your Woot! account, please see instructions below to ask for assistance is resetting your email.
How to update your Woot! email address if you remember your password
Use this method if you know your Woot! account password (not Login with Amazon)
Desktop

If you are logged in, please log out.

Go to www.woot.com and click on the generic person avatar in the upper-right corner.

Choose “Sign In. and then choose *Login with Woot”. Login with your old email and password. This may be different than your Amazon login email address if you created your account before about 2017.

Go back to the avatar menu and choose “Your Account.”

On the next screen, select “Email and Password Settings” from the left side. And yay! You get to sign in again to make sure you’re really you. Remember to sign in with your old Woot! email and password.
Finally, you can update your email and/or password from the next screen. Ignore the “Name” on that screen as it is a lie. If your username is Wooterxxxxx, you can change your name ONCE. Follow these directions.. If you have a regular username, you’re stuck with it. Hope you like it. 
App or Mobile Website

Open the Woot! app or go to www.woot.com on your mobile device (aka smart phone) and tap on “Account” on the bottom navigation bar.

On the next screen, tap on “Email and Password Settings” and choose Login with Woot.

On the next screen, you can update your email and/or password. Ignore the “Name” on that screen as it is a lie. If your username is Wooterxxxxx, you can change your name ONCE. Follow these directions.. If you have a regular username, you’re stuck with it. Hope you like it.
How to update your Woot! email address if you forgot your password but can still access your old email inbox
Use this method if you forgot your password but you can still access emails to the old email address.

If you are logged in, please log out.

Go to www.woot.com and click on the generic person avatar in the upper-right corner. Choose “Sign In.”

On the sign-in screen choose “Password assistance” above the Password text box. Follow the instructions to receive an email to reset your password.
You don’t know the password or no longer have access to your old email account
So your email address on your Woot! account is an email address you haven’t used in over five years or you don’t remember your Woot password. What ya gonna do? You’re going to contact Woot! Customer Service!

Go to www.woot.com and click on the generic person avatar in the upper-right corner. If you are not already logged in with your Amazon login credentials, do that now.

Go to the Customer Service Support Form:
- On Desktop: Choose “Customer Service”
- On the App or Mobile Web: Tap “Account” at the bottom of the screen and then “Support”

On the next screen in the Contact Us section, choose “My Account”

On the following page, choose “How do I change my account settings”. Note, if you are asked to log in, please do so with Login with Amazon.

Choose “Email Us”. Note: If phone service is available, you can choose that option.
Filling out the email form
To make the process quicker, please follow these directions exactly. Note that changes to your email address will likely require an in-person call for security.
Your Email: If you are logged in, this will be auto filled for you. If not, enter your Woot! email address.
Text box: Please provide the following information only. Do not make any other support requests.
- Old email address:
- New email address:
- Physical shipping address of most recent order
- Phone number where you can be reached:
- A day and time range when you can be reached including time zone
Example:
Old email: myoldemail@whatsamatta.edu
New email: mynewemail@gmail.com

Call Time: Mon or Wed, 2-5pm CT
Allow CS 48-72 hours to complete the request. The change is not complete though until you request a password update. Allow 3-5 days (often less) and do the following:

Go to www.woot.com

Choose Sign In from the menu (avatar)

Choose Log in with Woot

Choose Password assistance

Enter your new email, followed by Continue.
This will send you an email to set a new password.
